Lichi

The lichi, or lechwe antelope, is a stunning species native to the wetlands of Southern Africa. Known for its reddish-brown coat and curved horns, the lichi is perfectly adapted to its watery environment. These antelopes are often seen grazing in shallow floodplains, using their powerful hind legs to leap gracefully through water.

Lichis play a crucial role in their habitat, grazing on aquatic vegetation and serving as prey for predators like lions and crocodiles.
